Drafting
For the Discourse Community Analysis Essay, I chose the grape farming community. I chose this community because I am a member within it and it is one of the most important parts of my life.Â
I would say the easiest part of the drafting process was the building of the essay and how I would organize and begin topic's related to the subject. The hardest part of the drafting process was having to look back on my past experiences within my community and remembering scenarios as well as looking for ways to put them into comprehensible writing.
Peer review wasn't something I was able to do due to a family matter. I would like to say to my fellow viewers "why seek validation in a world that killed a perfect man".
Artificial Intelligence
My thoughts one the Aria form of Artificial Intelligence is that it is a very useful took as well as something that will really break down certain scenarios for you to define your work as well as give you a better perspective as well as understanding. During the writing process I used Ai to help organize and form my work to give an accurate timeline of events. I also used Ai to change words that I thought should have more or less meaning. I believe that ChatGPT wouldn't be good for writing a whole essay because it doesn't know who you are and what you think, so it wouldn't be realistic in a person setting as well as a realistic way. I just want to say that is model of Ai is overall a helping agent that helps explain more so then give.
Closing
I would say that is course so far has been tuff. Ive been having trouble getting my work done and turned it because Ive been working 2 jobs consistently and have been running of 4 hours of sleep every day. My next major portfolio assignment will be the rhetorical analysis essay. In this assignment we will be analyzing a single argument in debate on artificial Intelligence written by Kevin Roose. My approach for the next project is to analyze the situation and use my Ai partner to help form and complete my objective.Â

Reflecting on the Writting Process
This Rhetorical Analysis belongs in a college course because it improves one method and execution of debating issues as well as argue. The Rhetorical Analysis helped me develop a more open mind to arguments over certain issues by taking in the full version from both sides and analyzing till I reach my personal verdict. I learned that rushing is not an effective way to debate arguments and that it these types of writings aren't just for one certain audience.Â

When I first started this assignment, I was not confident that I fully understood the idea of what a rhetorical analysis was. It was clear from the beginning that we would be debating an argument but was unclear how exactly that would be executed.Â

When it comes to pacing, I would say that I was not on the same pace as class because I work a very strict and demanding job that restricts my time for other things. What I found to be the most challenging was making a strong recommendation because an agreed with both sides of the argument.Â

During my peer review it felt good to read another essay as it helped me to see the format and depth that another person put into the same objective. I was surprised that the person I was peer reviewing used more simplistic vocabulary but in a way that was still very mentally in depth. The feedback that I gave my partner was more format oriented with the MLA citation format as well as title and line spacing. The feedback that received was more so about being clear with my thesis as well as my body paragraphs. I did make changes based on the feedback I received.Â

The only part of my essay that I used Ai on was my format as well as simplifying some of my statements so that they don't lead on boring the reader. I made sure Ai didn't replace my work by inputting my own ideas in and having in orient it in a better way. I learned that Ai is good at giving better words for some that might just not give enough meaning and it explains why. There are my benefits, but the main drawbacks are how it like to change things that you specifically ask for it not to change.

I believe that my final draft was successful but could definitely take some more practice. I feel proud in the explaining and giving my own points as well as others. I feel like I could use some practice on my evidence as well as citing properly.
